Ned Taxi Genève uses the information you send us to answer your request and organise your journey.
For any question or request about your data, email us at nedtaxigeneve@gmail.com or call us on +41 76 616 97 74.
Booking form
When you send the booking form, your browser transmits the information you entered (first name, last name, email, phone, date and time, pickup and destination addresses, number of passengers and pieces of luggage, return trip and message) to the Formspree service, which forwards your request to us.
This processing is also subject to Formspree’s own terms and privacy policy.
Address search and journey estimate
When you use the fare estimator, the text typed in the address fields, and then the selected pickup and destination points, are sent by our server to the Geoapify service, which provides the address suggestions and the route calculation. Your browser does not contact Geoapify directly for these searches, and our server does not store these addresses in a database.
To limit abuse, our server uses a fingerprint (hash) of your IP address, not the address itself. This fingerprint is kept temporarily in memory only, never on disk.
If you display the route map, your browser loads the map tiles directly from Geoapify, which then receives, among other things, your IP address and the map area displayed.
The WhatsApp buttons send nothing until you click them. When you click, a message is prepared in your browser from the information displayed, then WhatsApp, a Meta service, opens. You can review, edit or discard this message before sending anything. Conversations on WhatsApp are subject to that service’s terms.
Storage in your browser
When you click “Book your journey” after an estimate, the pickup and destination addresses are kept in your browser’s session storage (sessionStorage) to prefill the booking form. They are erased as soon as the booking page reads them, and this storage disappears when the tab is closed.
If you choose light or dark mode, this choice is saved in your browser’s local storage (localStorage). This data stays in your browser and is not sent to our server.
